Coach Erik Spoelstra more popularly known as Coach Spo became famous after he guided the Miami Heat for an NBA World Championship ring during the 2011-2012 NBA Regular Season.
Erik Spoelstra's family came from the province of Bulacan, he was a son an NBA executive and was chosen as the successor of Miami Heat Coach Pat Riley, one of the most recognized coach in the NBA.
Spoelstra was named by the Sports Illustrated as the one who honed the skills especially the shooting balance of NBA MVP Dwayne Wade after his return from the Athens Olympics.
